Make Money Blogging 2.0

Lately I have been doing lots of changes to this website.

If you have been a visitor for some time, you will surely see the changes. For a few days, I implemented a whole different theme (prosense). I chose that theme because of the Adsense optimization (as you loyal readers already know).

However, little did I know (I’m showing by noobness here), I could just change the Ultimate blogging theme around to look like the prosense theme.

I have been busy all day, reading mostly.

But, I have also been changing some things around online. For my scorpio-traits.com site, I changed the whole theme, to a more basic theme. I have my reasons. It may not look as good as it did before. But, now the way I post is much more streamlined, which is worth it for me.

I was considering writing a post specifically about the pros and cons of the new theme versus the old. Maybe I will later.

It’s a proven fact that search engines love blogs. The reason for this is pretty simple, search engines love to search and find new quality content. It is their goal to index high quality information as quickly as possible. If you’ve not been blogging then you’ve been missing out on an incredible opportunity to bring instant traffic to your website. Since blogs get comments along with the url of the user, getting backlinks for a blog is very easy. With all this advantage, it is extremely easy to get ranking for a blog in the search engines.

Mostly everyone of us started blogging and internet marketing with almost zero knowledge. No one knew everything and you have to dig your way to learn things that will help you to be successful in any way. In order to make money in any field, you need to learn the terms, and the same to online blogging. You actually don’t need to learn programming, but you need to know how things work. Web technology is the foundation on which your online business and venture stands. You need to learn how things function.

So my blog has been down for 2 days. I was also getting comments and some emails telling that they are seeing some sort of function errors at the bottom of the site. If you are using AVG antivirus, it would also pop out telling a virus the last time you’ve opened up my blog.

I was so confused how come this kind of things is happening to my website. Maybe I was so comfortable about security and it never came to my mind that my WordPress blog can also be breached by hackers. For the first 12 months of my blogging period, I never realized to take preventive measures for my blog.
