Headway Theme Review

The new theme is called Headway theme, much more likely to have the features of Thesis but with a completely different styles.On the other hand, I don’t really want to compare the themes because these two are both a killer, I.M.O..
Alright.. I’m gonna start out with the Headway Configuration
There are actually 4 tabs that you can see in the configuration panel. The first one is the General options and the things are sorted out like this,
The next tab is the Navigation
-It includes the ability to arrange the pages navigation tab and the option to show the sub-pages, home link and if you want to change the home link text – could also possible.
Third tab is the ultimate Headway SEO Configuration Panel
-This blessing from Headway themes is one of the most important functions that you will expect to get. It enables you to fully optimize the variables and manually change the way how your homepage, page title, posts page title and many other properties that should appear in the search engines.
The last tab is the Social Networking
-The function is very similar to a plugin that automatically tweets whenever you post a new content to your blog. Simply put in your account id and password.
Headway Design
The Headway Design option enables you to customize many things including stylesheets/skins, the size and dimensions, header (in which you can just place the url link of your logo that you have to manually css edit in Thesis), post display/comments, typography or fonts, and the colors ( oh yes! 
)The Colors option is one thing I liked from Headway because I don’t have to manually css customize unlike in the Thesis theme. It makes things much more easier, I guess.
Headway Layout Editor
This is the most favorite part I loved when customizing my theme with the Headway.The Headway Layout Editor let’s you customize the layout of every page. They have a system called “Add a Leaf” or “Leafs” which enables you to add several contents like Image Rotator leaf (check out my advertisements) —>, About leaf, Featured Posts leaf, Rss/Recent Posts, Text/Html, Twitter leaf, Widget Ready Sidebar (Oh yeah, you can add as many widgets as you want) and the Content leaf. The customization has almost no limits through the drag and drop function.

All in all, Headway theme is really an awesome framework for your blog. Makes things more easier, beautiful and much better. You don’t really have to be a master in CSS or PHP because with a minimal effort and knowledge, you can customize every single piece of design in your blog.

I use WP for several of my blogs. Tried this theme and liked it a lot. I recommend it to all wp blog owners.
