Namecheap Cheap Domains Review
I came across with the Namecheap.com several months ago when I started to learn the basics of blogging with your own domain and hosting.
I really don’t have an idea..Seriously.. in WHAT the heck in this world I will do to register a domain name because no one is teaching me and by that time, I was totally illiterate about those stuffs. Even so, I tried to register for an account there and check out if “ijstyles” would be available (of course).
I thought it was hard to register for a domain name but in Namecheap, it was totally easy because the navigation layout and interface is quite simple and you can see every details that you have to click and to do to make a successful purchase.
One thing I also liked about Namecheap.com is that it doesn’t require you to verify your Paypal account which makes it easy for newbies that don’t have a verified Paypal account to get their own domain name registered for a really cheap price.
The only thing that I can’t give a review about is their technical support and staff. As of now, I don’t get any problems so far with my account but I heard it might take awhile (about 2-3 days) for a reply when you e-mailed them and ask for a technical support regarding any problems in your account or domain name.
NameCheap had also implemented a new service called “WhoIsGuard.” WhoIsGuard is a privacy feature that enables users to keep their personal information (email address, home address, phone number, and etc.) private from the online world. So this is a great bonus! Each new domain purchased via NameCheap includes a WhoIsGuard subscription and renewing that same domain each year, extends your subscription. This is a great bonus, especially considering most companies charge in excess of $9.99/yr. for this service.
In my overall view, Namecheap.com I think, is one of the best domain registrars you can get out there. Everything is neat and straight forward. And once you bought a domain name from them, you can get your domain name registered in just a matter of an hour. The first time I registered this domain name to Namecheap.com, I think it took me only 40 minutes to set-up everything and my website as well. It was fast and hassle-free.
When you decide to buy a domain from Namecheap.com, make it sure you check out for coupons so you can get a slash off discount on your domain’s price. Most of the time, you can get a .com for $8.88 but with a coupon, it will only cost you for about $7.98!

Namecheap is indeed a good domain registrar. I got my domain through a friend from Namecheap when I first started blogging.
