Make Money Blogging 2.0

I’m thinking about changing the overall theme of this site. At first I started my research into new themes to see if the one I am using is the most SEO friendly (and what I have heard so far, it is). But, then I noticed a theme on a list of top SEO themes that boasted to be great for Adsense.

Then, I got to thinking, maybe I should go this route. If you have been reading my posts, you will already know my struggles to monetize. Maybe I should go the route of the best theme for profiting with Adsense.

I’ve been thinking of different ways to make money on this blog. So far (as I’m sure you can see), there are already Adsense ads. Now, you may be thinking to yourself that I am probably making a killing on these (like other blogs). Well, how much am I making on these?

I was reading about a new ride in this amusement park located in Wildwoods, New Jersey called Ghost Ship at Morey’s Piers. Next time I visit New Jersey, I will make sure to visit the park, Morey’s Piers, just so I can check out that new ride.

I have been to a few different amusement parks in my life, most recently to Lagoon in Utah. But, Lagoon didn’t have anything this cool. For anyone heading out that way, I recommend that you definitely stop by.

So, I sent in a customer service ticket to sponsoredreviews.com to get my blog activated. I just found out that they approved my blog yay!

So, I may start writing reviews for different products. I started out by only bidding on the listings that paid $5 per post. I know that’s not that much. But, even if I could get that completed, it would be a major step for me.

I’m planning on changing the the logo on this site. I’m not really sure if all the changes I’m doing for this site will be good. But, I have one purpose in mind… to make the blog personal.

I plan on adding an elevator pitch. This is something I learned about in a eBook that I recently started reading, called the days to a better blog.

I just wanted to update you on how I’m doing. Since buying this blog, I have definitely learned a lot. But, it has also been kinda stressful.

The question comes along “was this the right investment”. My gut tells me YES. I don’t really second guess myself much. The only reason that this is bugging me is because I have not seen any profit yet and may not be seeing any for a while.
